Greetings from Ss. Gervasis and Prothasis Forane church kothanalloor, one of the most ancient church in India,established in 826AD.It was founded in the name of Mary,mother of Jesus Christ. In the course of history it was dedicated to the patronage of kandeesangal.

At present this Church is a well known pilgrim centre and is internationally reputed for the "Twin's Meet", a unique and a special event conducted on the 19^th of June every year in connection with the feast of the kandeesangal( Ss. Gervasis & Prothasis).

Very many pilgrims from different parts of the world come to visit this holy ancient church. Among the pilgrims a number of couples who have no children, come here to pray for the same, especially for twins. Many of them after getting children visit here again to give thanks and to witness the miracle.
